Folk och Försvar and Finlandsinstitutet cordially invites you to a seminar on the occasion of the visit of the Defence Ministers of Finland and the United Kingdom to Sweden.

Europe is experiencing several ongoing challenges and faces transformations in its security landscape. The Russian annexation of Crimea and the ongoing war in eastern Ukraine has fundamentally changed the European security order. The situation in northern Europe is of particular concern, where an increase of military activity has forced countries in the region to reconsider their military posture. The significance of the Baltic Sea Region to European security has increased.

In this seminar, we will discuss the changing security landscape in northern Europe and what security challenges we face as of today.

Guests are welcome to stay for further discussions and light refreshments after the seminar.
